I recently had the pleasure of sitting down and talking to Dr. Kelsey Asplin about a very important topic- Do No Harm First: A Perspective from a Naturopathic Physician.
Dr. Kelsey is a Naturopathic Doctor who has made it her mission to change the narrative on healthcare. She has maintained a private practice since 2015 and now manages the Denver Naturopathic Clinic in south Denver, which has worked with patients for over 30 years. Dr. Kelsey focuses on supporting high-performing professionals to enhance their energy, focus, and productivity. She works alongside CEOs, athletes, entrepreneurs, celebrities and other highly motivated patients to investigate their health on a deeper level using modern testing methods, science backed treatment programs, and superb listening skills. She frequently sees patients struggling with anxiety and depression, thyroid imbalances, gut disturbances, and fatigue.
When she isn’t seeing patients, Dr. Kelsey lectures in the Integrative Health Care program at MSU Denver, serves as the Vice President of the Colorado Association of Naturopathic Doctors, trains in weight lifting and enjoys the outdoors with her significant other and their dog, Rudy.
One of Dr. Kelsey’s greatest passions is sharing her knowledge about health and increasing public awareness of Naturopathic modalities that can be effectively used to support the body’s innate healing abilities and to enhance the effectiveness of conventional treatments.
